Peter W. Van Den Elzen, the company founder and president, began his career as a carpenter and cabinet installer in Newmarket, Canada. In 1992, Peter moved to the U.S. and branched out into commercial construction with JTV General Contractors, Inc. His extensive knowledge and experience allowed him to advance to project engineer, senior superintendent and project coordinator within the company. At the height of his career, he boasted over 20 years of experience and was tasked with the oversight of over $37 million in remodeling and ground-up construction projects.

Peter worked for JTV General Contractors for over 15 years, coordinating and building churches, medical offices, education facilities, city halls and other government buildings. He also took over operations of a granite and marble fabrication company, which provided residential and commercial services in Atlanta, GA and the surrounding area.

After the owner of JTV General Contractors retired, Peter set out on his own. He earned a GCQA Contractor’s License and established ElzenGroup, promoting similar values and insisting on the same commitment to client satisfaction as his former employer.
